Resin Pendants with Mikel Lefler

     With the purchase of this class, students will leave the class with knowledge of both doming and epoxy resins, a helpful handout with tips on resin practices, and two beautifully personalized pendants. While many items are included with the cost of the class, students are welcome to bring their own items to encase in the resin including dried foliage, photographs, pictures, script, insects, candy, or anything else which has a dry consistency.  

Note to students: Please bring with you a small, flat box in which to take home your pendants as it is necessary for them to remain flat until they dry. As an alternative, students are also welcome to leave their projects at I Found Gallery to be picked up at a later date.

Resin Beads, Buttons, and Cabochons with Mikel Lefler

      In this information packed class, resin artist Mikel Lefler teaches students to make beads, buttons and cabochons out of versatile resin.  Students will make their own molds from existing buttons, beads and cabochons and will make several items from these molds to take home.  Mikel will also teach students how to finish these resin items and will provide extensive handouts.  Students are encouraged to bring their own beads, buttons and cabs that they would like to duplicate.  No latex items and any polymer clay items: must be sulfur free.

Please also bring a smock, apron or old shirt to work in and a flat bottomed box or container to carry home projects (at least 5” X 5”). As an alternative, studnets are also welcome to leave their projects at I Found Gallery to be picked up at a later date.
